Go after the CASP instead since you already have Sec+CompTIA A+, Network+, i-Net+, MCP 70-210, CNA v5, Server+, Security+, Cloud+, CySA+, ISC² CC, ISC² SSCP

There are two cert guides due out in April/May. I reviewed some CEH material before I took the beta. Now, it didn't match the CSA subject matter exactly, but there was some crossover in the CEH objectives that helped in the pursuit of the certification. I mean Snort is Snort, Wireshark analysis is similar, etc. whether you are doing CEH or CSA. If you have taken Security+ that helps as well.

DntH8Me Member Posts: 73 ■■■□□□□□□□While studying for the CASP I took the CSA+ beta exam in Aug and I used a UDEMY class (Ethical Hacking from Scratch to Advanced Technique) as study material for the exam. There were many questions that I was able to answer due to what I learned in the class other information was crossover from things I read in the CASP book. If I were preparing for the exam now with time to study I would still do the UDEMY class, probably take some study materials from cybrary.it and by the time both of those were complete the study guide should be released.2019 Certification Goals: CEH | PenText + | CISM? | stop procrastinating

You can get the printed textbook plus I believe 1 year online (guessing lab) access for $140. Seems very reasonable and I'll spring for this if I decide on this cert. Wish there was more feedback/review on the course quality though.

Yes it is new, but after researching and learning what I can about the new exam and the fact that it has the same name as a common job title "cybersecurity analyst," I'm seeking advice. Only thing I've been able to find, other than what's posted here, is stuff provided on a blog post at Time to Tackle CompTIA’s CSA+ Certification (CS0-001) | Steve's Certification Site

I just received my Security+ today. I think the key for me to pass the Security+ was the book that I used by Darril Gibson. I had previously ordered a book by Mike Chapple and David Seidl for the CSA+, but just from reading the first chapter and doing the questions, I think the book possibly still needs some updates to it as some of the answers were conflicting. -
j86schroeder Member Posts: 17 ■□□□□□□□□□What is the best study material for the CSA+? I am new to security, and debating on which material to study.
I bought the Wiley CSA+ book, but I ran across some information that was conflicting in the first chapter content and review questions. So I returned the book.
I have ordered the Troy McMillan CSA+ book, but I am unsure if it is enough to properly prepare me for this exam.
I am now looking into the GTS learning and Ucertify material on the CSA+.
Can anyone tell me what material they used to pass this exam especially if they are a green horn with none to little security experience?
Thanks. -
