how to restore tape backups in red hat enterprise AS 4?????

I need to restore tape backups in Red Hat Enterprise AS 4. Im new to Linux. Does linux have a tool like Microsofts NTBACKUP. how do i use it, how do i restore in LINUX?????????????????????????????
