Does anyone live in the EU but work remote for an American company?

I have a job in the US that I work remotely from home. My bosses have said that "The good thing about this job is you can work from anywhere in the world." Well, I've always wanted to spend some in Paris. More than just a vacation and more than the 90 day visa.

Is it possible to work for an American company but live in France long term?
