Hi All,

Got the official mail from ISC2 early morning today confirming my status as CISSP.

I got through the exam on my first sitting in Dec 2016.

Completed my endorsement and submitted my application early Jan 2017.

Got my confirmation mail today. It took around 35 days since i submitted my application.

I would like to thank all you guys who took time to help me through this forum when i needed help. This exam was tough. I was studying on and off for about a year. Once i got registered for the exam, studied around 4-5 hours on week days and 6-8 hours on weekends continuously for 03 months till the exam date.

My study sources were;

1) Sybex CISSP Official Study Guide, 7th Edition (Helped me to understand many confusing concepts)

2) Four practice exams that comes with the Sybex CISSP Official Study Guide

3) Official ISC2 Guide to the CISSP CBK, 4th Edition (Read the whole book and took notes, Does not help much to understand confusing topics. Good for all round knowledge)

4) Pearsons CISSP Training videos (Used to listen to them while i was driving to office. Helpful in understanding certain topics)

5) Questions banks from various other books

Hope this helps. Thx again.
