LonerVamp Member Posts: 518 ■■■■■■■■□□What do I love about my job? The pay enables me to do things I want to do on my own time. Solving problems and learning is pretty constant in IT security. Sometimes we create the problems, but then look for solutions after. It's something I can not only do, but enjoy doing.

1)I work from home. (Not everyone at my job can, trust issues)
2) Great team, I get along with everyone.
3) The work seems fairly easy for the amount of money I’m paid. (mine is getting to be tougher now)
4) My boss is super nice and chilled. (my edit)
5) There are not any throw people under the bus moments. We always find a win - win resolution
the job that I am in isnt contact, it is full time. I am working for a vendor and I have the same love too.
Plus, i get to be a technical trainer for my region (EMEA) and i also get to focus on making sure our channel partners are the best they can be and also within a presales role.
6) because i work from home, i can expense things when i leave my home office to go places (and get paid mileage as well)
7) I get commission each month based on our numbers.
I do love the job i am in I am blessed and thankful I have it.Always keep learning and have a positive attitude - never be rude or insulting and you will be blessed.

Yes!! I worked 100% remote for 5 years with a large bank. Then spent 3 years working in the office for various companies. Now 100% remote again. I don't think I'm ever going to hold another job that's not primarily remote. I honestly have zero interest in leaving the company I'm with, and really, the position either. I'll keep adding to/refreshing my skill set, but I really have no desire to leave my current position. There's nothing else I need to prove to myself. I've met my (IT) career and income goals with this position.Have: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, eJPT, GCIA, GSEC, CCSP, CCSK, AWS CSAA, AWS CCP, OCI Foundations Associate, ITIL-F, MS Cyber Security - USF, BSBA - UF, MSISA - WGU

Next Up: OSCP
