Hi all,
The end is near... starting the Capstone.
For those of you ... who have had the pleasure of going through the MBA ITM curriculum....any pointers or lessons learned when it comes to the Capstone?
Thanks,
Frank

It is not too bad in the aggregate.
There are two components to it as you might know: the capsim business simulation and the "real world business solution" paper that you have to work with someone and write a business report about it.
The one that you can control is the paper while the capsim is the group project where you might be at the "mercy" of the other group members. But seriously, i think the caliber of most WGU students is that they want to pass and graduate. I would advice to just read most of the steps and tips and be aggressive on the capsim rounds -

TranceSoulBrother Member Posts: 215It is. During the capsim, you have to pay attention to various sections within the company (R&D, Marketing, Finance, HR...). Minimum "score" is to be above 50% to advance after 4 rounds (years of operation). It's a bit confusing in the beginning until you get the hang of it, but then the score is affected by your decisions and their impact on Net Profit, Employee retention, customer satisfaction, product stocking....
We just found out that we were good but not good enough to advance so we have to redo the practice rounds before going into the competition rounds (actual graded ones)
