Mastering Windows Server 2012 R2 exam coverage

Would it be a good book to start 410?

Does the information go beyond the scope of 410?

Any thoughts on how it compares to other books specifically written for the 410 exam?

Its a good book in general. I know some who have used it to pass. I would say that it is not intended for test takers and more of a general knowledge of Windows Server. I've used it as a reference book to skim over from time to time but focused on the more exam-centric books.

This is, of course, just my opinion. I know others who have passed using the Mastering book.

I think it is a good book. But you should not limit yourself to that unless you have a lot of hands on experience with server 2012 R2. I am studying for the exams myself and i would like Poolmanjim to tell us a bit about what materials he uses to pass the certification.

Not to sound like a knob but there are numerous 70-410 passed topics where the OP lists what materials they used to pass the exam.

Sorry to miss your reply. Just saw it today. Forgive me if I don't want to type it all again. Here are the resources I used across all three tests (separate posts). I used a variety of resources for each one and a variety of study methods. Its always a work in progress.
