MCSE Productivity - required MCSA confusion

Hi,
I am considering approaching 70-334 (Core Solutions of Microsoft Skype for Business 2015) examination. I have MCSA in Windows Server 2012.
Requirements in regard to the MCSA needed are a bit confusing.
On one hand, as per https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/learning/mcse-productivity-certification.aspx , MCSA Windows Server 2012 looks to sufficient:
But the site looks to be messed up. In the step 4, they are suggesting MTA as a follow up for MCSE, lol. And there is Cloud badge for MCSA WinSrv 2012.
Other sources* seem to be saying that MCSA in O365 is required, but perhaps something has changed in the last months/weeks?
*
e.g. https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/uktechnet/2016/11/03/understand-the-big-changes-for-the-new-streamlined-microsoft-technical-certifications/
So... anyone knows if one can be MCSE: Productivity through 70-334 only with MCSA Windows Server 2012?

Piers Member Posts: 454 ■■■□□□□□□□Yeah, that's kinda weird that step 4 is a step back in a way. Forget that..
For MCSE Prod, get Server2012 or O365 MCSA, then go to step 3. The 334 will give you your MCSE

OctalDump Member Posts: 1,722Yeah, the new site layout and new certifications don't make it as clear what all the various options are. I am 90% sure that MCSA Server 2012 will count as a pre-requisite for MCSE Productivity.2017 Goals - Something Cisco, Something Linux, Agile PM

70-334 (Core Solutions of Microsoft Skype for Business 2015) - here I come! VCP-DCV6, you will have to wait a month or two longer than planned.
