I had a question do you need to know linux for the AWS SysOps administrator certification?

    No. You do not need to know Linux for the exam.
    However, many of the study materials will use examples involving Linux. So whereas the exam itself is node OS agnostic, you might have to translate some of the study materials from Linux specific (SSH, apache httpd, etc) to Windows specific. However, even those instances of Linux-specific examples are minimal.
