Just passed CWNA

Hi,

Just passed exam this morning with 81%

- Even if CWNA was the first course of CWNP track, is a relatively hard exam. Nothing to compare with Network+. More like MS Server 2003 or Cisco exam (I find the INTRO exam of CCNA more easy then CWNA)
- Missed one question because I click on next button too fast. Unlike other exams, you can go back! So, take your time.
- Exam is fair, well written (a must when English is not your primary language) and cover all material.
- Unlike Microsoft exam, 99% of exam answers are inside CWNA book.
- Master all chapters of CWNA book, even dry section like Power Saving mode at the end of chapter 10.

I’m waiting for second edition of CWSP book (September 1 2006 on amazon.com) to begin the next level.

This is an example of a typical "exam moocher". He sucks up to you, then pretty much demands answers to the test you just worked hard to pass.

    osuma,
Besides the fact that this site does not permit braindumps, you aren't helping yourself or your company.

This isn't a **** site for people that don't know what they're doing. Didn't you see in his post he actually read a book and studied hard to pass?

Hey, big congrats on the pass! This track looks like it has some good stuff in it to learn. It's very good to hear that the material offered by the vendor is adequate for the exam!

    Congratulations! icon_thumright.gif

I'm willing to bet that Cisco will someday catch up and offer a wireless certification (rather than the few specialist things they offer now) -- so you're ahead of the curve here!

    Congrats!

I wish CompTIA, Microsoft, and Cisco would learn from the former new kid on the block, CWNP, and just like Novell used to do, provide some better study material themselves.

Excellent pass! 81% is a very good score. And yes, the exam is made more difficult by not being able to go back and change your answers.

I didn't realize that the release of 2nd edition of the CWSP Study Guide would the that far off. I assumed the "Summer 2006" date posted on www.cwnp.com would be June. There's certainly enough material available now to study for the CWSP without the book.

Yes I can but since I fall in love with Planet3 books (unlike Cisco Press) , I can easily wait a couple of months

The only "trick" is understanding the material in the CWNA Study Guide and having some hands-on experience with basic wireless networking equipment. Also, already having a HAM radio license helps, but it's not necessary.
