Is anyone else annoyed when you see phrases in work emails like, "Just a gentle reminder" or "Kindly reply back"?
It makes me want to say, "How bout I gently remind you by kindly beating you with a stick?"
Maybe I have some unsorted anger issues...not sure

Moss from the IT Crowd deals with the fire emergency in the only way he knows how - by sending an emailWhen one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened."

@packetphilter Some people make everything slightly more awkward when they're asking something of you. As long as I don't have to suffer through a phone call with them they can gently by the by time permitting all they want. I will count that as a win -
revbox Member Posts: 90 ■■■□□□□□□□There is always that one ******* SDM that does this in every workplace. Like, reminding people what time the workday officially starts even though you were up till 1 AM doing maintenance and connected remotely this morning from home while sipping coffee, or asking people to be quiet in the hallways even though they choose to leave their office door wide open and expect everyone else to act like it is a library.
