Problems with media player

I have a problem with my media player and other software like real player. When I watch a film the sound and the film isnt same,, the film is little bit after sound,, What can the problem be?? heard something about dma but I dont know

it's probably the file. you can use a prog to put the sound back in sync with the vid, or perhaps some playback prog will allow you to adjust the synchronization.
unless it does that with all your video files.
