Dear IT Professional,
7+ Months Extendable Contract position in – St Louis: MO– 222
We have a position at two separate locations that requires skills that you or someone
you know may possess.

Job Description as follows:
Looking to bring contractors to help 1st level operations
We would require shift work, including 3rd shift and weekends as necessary some times.
Please see the attached skill set:
Provide support for hosted windows platforms
Monitor traps and user interface statistics, and perform diagnosis of application and system failures.
Take corrective action to restore application and system failures.
Liaise with Reuters Support Center staff to assist in the restoration of hosted services. This may include Development, Quality Assurance, Product Management, and other departments for resolution of all escalated issues.
Responsible for reporting service outages, and documenting events and service outages in accordance with established procedures.
Perform installation of operating system and application software packages.
Perform other assignments requested by the manager.
Must have
· Working knowledge of Windows Operating systems (Server, workstation, registry etc.)
· Working knowledge of Basic Networking and TCP/IP. (subnet masking, IP addressing, routing, multicast network topology)
· Strong verbal, interpersonal, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
· Ability to work under pressure as part of a team in a sophisticated technical environment.
· Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a high pressure environment
Nice to have
· Strong understanding of IIS, Internet hosting, server farm load balancing concepts.
· Ability to support and maintain large server farms containing web based application systems.
· Working knowledge of UNIX operating system
