Hi guys,
I want to start the upgrade of my MCSA 2012 to MCSA 2016 by taking 70-743 exam.
I would highly appreciate if you could advise me preparation materials.
Sharing thoughts are also welcomed.
Thank you.

UncleB Member Posts: 417Starting with Googling "70-743 study resources" gives some decent free resources on the first page:

exam 70-743, studyguide 70-743 | Marius Sandbu
There is the official MS guide of course but that is 6 months out of date already, so go with the ones linking to MS online documentations.

There are loads of **** site which should be avoided of course.
Get onto Microsofts Virtual academy and look at the courses there:
https://mva.microsoft.com/
That is a good starting point. -

poolmanjim Member Posts: 285 ■■■□□□□□□□The MCSA 2016 exams are all fairly new and haven't even gotten to their R2 retofit yet so the resources are going to be thin compared to the MCSA 2012 resources out there.
I haven't personally begun studying for it yet but the advice I've been given from our Microsoft rep is to read the Introducing Server 2016 book, watch some of the Server 2016 videos on MVA, and then focus on the What's New Pages for the subject material listed in the exam objectives taking the time to follow the rabbit trail of technet articles as they may lead to nuggest of information.2019 Goals: Security+
2020 Goals: 70-744, Azure
Completed: MCSA 2012 (01/2016), MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure (07/2017), MCSA 2017 (09/2017)
Future Goals: CISSP, CCENT
