Figured I'd update my certs (all I have expired...NT, xp etc) so I did this before they retired the test.

Now...deciding if I want to go Win10 next, or CCENT. I'm mid 40's and need to get some updated certs soon..will be looking for new job (not by choice...lol) as late as Feb 2018 or earlier. So...concentrate on Desktops (Windows certs, maybe server) or diversify into Cisco? Just sounding off to get another perspective from the outside looking in...Thanks!

It depends on which route you would like to go, which area of IT you are looking to go towards. the CCENT might be a nice route if you like networking or if you want to stay on the Microsoft track then windows 10 is a nice option for a desktop support type role. Again It depends on what you are going for.

Congrats! I'm going for Win10 at some point. Thought I might as well get this under my belt early seeing as this is going to be MS's last OS (for now) and many businesses will decide on upgrading over the next few years.
