I was really impressed with the quick approval time because it only took 2 days BUT the fee hike to $950 just blows my mind.

Don't worry, the excitement will soon wear off after you take their lack-luster exam and join the rest of us CEHs that are less than proud to be affiliated with the EC-Council. Also if you fail the exam, you will have to buy another voucher at full price, no discounts.I'm not allowed to say what my previous occupation was, but let's just say it rhymes with architect. -

Man, that's crazy. Good for you that you don't have to pay for it yourself! It's unfortunate that companies and recruiters still have that cert listed in job requirements. -

This exam is free for me because my company reimburses me for all costs including the application fee. Win-Win for me. CEH will be taken shortly after CISSP because I have been studying both at the same time. When I get bored with one I just switch to the other......Work smarter NOT harder! Semper Gumby!
