in CCDA & CCDP
Hello All,
I am new to this site. I currently have my CCNP R&S. It is expiring in 45 days. I plan on taking the 300-320 ARCH exam to receive CCDP and renew my CCNP.
I desperately need GOOD study material.
Any suggestions from people who have actually used, and passed exam?

CryptoQue Member Posts: 204 ■■■□□□□□□□I would suggest the CCDP self study book. I also took the same path when my CCNP R&S was up for renewal. However, I found out that in order to be CCDP certified, I had to first past the CCDA. It's a Cisco certification path requirement. Since you're already 45 days out, it would be best for you to focus on the 300-320 ARCH exam to renew your CCNP. Afterwards, take the 200-310 DESIGN exam so you can meet the certification requirements for the CCDP. Good luck!

CryptoQue Member Posts: 204 ■■■□□□□□□□You're welcome. There are various sites that offer practice questions for both the DA & DP. One site that usually has a good variety of relevant questions is Latest CCDP Certification Practice Test | CCDP Exam Questions - Passleader

tunerX Member Posts: 447 ■■■□□□□□□□You can take any associate or professional test you want but will not get the CCDP until you meet the prerequisites. valid CCDA and valid CCNA R&S or CCIE.
You also have to have passed ROUTE, SWITCH, and ARCH tests.
My CCNP is old as dirt and I never took the ROUTE and SWITCH tests. -

Ah right, I guess googling helps me here.

The CCNP R/S path are just recommended prep. So in my case I need CCDA + ARCH to get CCDP.Currently Studying: IE Stuff...kinda...for now...

Staffwu Registered Users Posts: 4 ■□□□□□□□□□Hello.
I'm preparing for the Arch exam and I noticed somewhere online there questions about SAN and storage technologies , Fibre channel , iSCSI .....
looking at the study meterial I'm using : Cisco on demand learning and Cisco press Arch study guide, I can't find any refenrce about those technologies.
My question is: do I need to read about this or it is belongs to the old exam version ?
Thanks.

HyattHomes Registered Users Posts: 4 ■□□□□□□□□□Can anyone who has sat for the 300-320 comment?
I have gone through the latest ARCH Cisco text book, but it sounds like there are questions that are outside of the textbook topics.
Thank you all -
