Mastering Active Directory

Hi guys,
So Ive managed to get a junior network role that will also include some windows desktop support. Key topics I need to learn include Active Directory, Exchange and general desktop t shoot.
Any tips on how to get the basic foundation down?
Im planning to go through some video series and work my way through the windows server guide.
Thanks

I think MCSE Server (if they have specific paths for MS certs), I have to deal with a Server ticket from time to time at my MSP, and group policy objects and application gets tricky extremely quick.
Also it is tying more and more into the network infrastructure with identity services becoming more prevalent with advanced Firewall stuff like Sourcefire or Fortinets version of user accounting software they put on servers, which works terribly when it starts messing up.
All that said, MS career path, MCSA for intermediate level and of course SE for Ninja skills
