Infosec hiring in Chicago

As usual, giving the TE folks a heads up before we officially open the role. We are completely restructuring our security operations are and moving away from the entry level role we had (see fiasco link below). The new person will come as a mid-tier infosec engineer, if that makes sense.

Duties are still being worked on but at a high level it includes responding to incidents, security analytics, security automation, internal consulting on security projects, and research on new controls. We are a fairly small team with tons to do so other things you can participate in include pen testing, vulnerability management, forensics, threat hunting, threat intel, metrics, awareness, etc. World is your oyster.

Reqs
BS or equivalent work experience required. Certs not required, but Sec+, CASP, CSA+, CISSP, anything GIAC is helpful. The biggest assets you can bring to the table are solid IT/Infosec background, common sense, and passion/drive for Infosec. By passion I don't mean working 60 hours per week. I mean demonstrating how this stuff motivates you and how you stay up to date, etc.

No remote work, no relocation (if you want to move on your own, that works). NO ENTRY LEVEL - see previous fiasco here. Again, we are still shaping the posting so nothing is 100% yet but if you have some interest please reach out via PM for details.
