Close call (70-291)

Passed with a 725. I thought I had done better but almost failed. Oh Well I am happy to be on the right side of the score. I really thought I got an 800+ score when I clicked "end review". A pass is pass. Achieved MCSA 2k3 status. MCSE 2k3 up next.

Its a lot more fun to study harder for the next one than study again for the same one...

Plus you have the MCSA to distract you from your close call!

So, after the MCSE2k3 you're gonna do the Cisco Certificatons, right?

Going for CCNA and a couple specialist cisco certs right after I am done with MCSE.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmz sweet , i would advise you to take the 293 immediately alot of the topics overlap.

Congrats on the pass man.

I was to take the 291 on Friday past but I didn't feel ready, so I rescheduled for Next Friday. I've read over and over, folks take this exam and think they are doing well but in the end they've either just missed passing or barely passed.

Sounds as though I need to be even more cautious on this one.

Was there a lot of TCP/IP and Subnetting?

My 291 had several subnetting questions and 3 or 4 TCPIP questions based on configuring correct DNS/gateway/subnet mask etc. You must know subnetting with out a calc.
