For those of you who have been doing the various beta tests (CompTIA, etc.)...
How did you get involved? Just watching for it to be announced? Did you sign up somewhere? Did they pick you out of a hat, etc...?

Beta exams are usually the first 500, 600 or similar to register. Best bet is to keep tabs on the exam providers via social media, email newsletters, etc. -

Another great resource is this forum. I took the CSA+ beta because of links provided here. There will likely be another beta exam next year (CompTIA Penetration Tester +).The easiest thing to be in the world is you. The most difficult thing to be is what other people want you to be. Most important these exam are cheaper than normal.
CompTIA - 50$
F5 - 15$ - after beta exam you will receive voucher for full exam freeI'm just doing my job, nothing personal, sorry
xx+ certs...and I'm not counting anymore -
