in CCNA & CCENT
Hi all,
Does the Standard Image (SI) (as opposed to the EI version) allow all of the commands covered by CCNA (and CCNP for that matter?)
I'm finding it difficult to find any useful info on this. A 2950 with SI is often referred to as "fixed-configuration"... does this mean it is not suitable for practicing VLANs, trunking, etc?
Cheers.

Cisco Catalyst 2950 Series Switches with Enhanced Image SW
Cisco Catalyst 2950 Series Switches with Standard Image SW
Also, this command ref tells you which commands are EI only:
Catalyst 2950 and Catalyst 2955 Switch Command Reference, 12.1(22)EA5
SI should be fine for CCNA. I have a pair of 2950-12s running SI [IOS (tm) C2950 Software (C2950-I6Q4L2-M), Version 12.1(13)EA1, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)] and they did everything I needed for CCNA.
