I took the single CCNA test. There was more ICND stuff on it than INTRO stuff. The ICND stuff is harder too if I remember. It took me about 3 months, studying 10-15hrs a week (maybe even less).
Take this and apply it to the 2 exams. I don't know if it's a perfect fit for your question but this was my experience. I'm fairly quick I think, but, I have not been drafted into the CIA at a young age or ever been called a genius - so, it's something I'm sure some folks could use as a guage.
I'm sure that there are others on this board that have finished more or less quickly.

Thanks, But my question was how long do I have to prepare for the ICND after the INTRO. Is there a limit such as 6 months etc. Does the Intro Expire if I don't Take the ICND within a time frame?

A cut and paste of the answer already provided by kplab, you have a problem

The INTRO and ICND exams are valid for three years. Candidates should take their exams and complete the CCNA certification track within three years from the date of passing the first exam.
