What books and practice labs are you using to help you? I bought the MS Press 70-270 book. Did you find it good enough or did you need another book as well?Mark Twain

but there seemed to be many on here disappointed with it and that it was lacking information compared to the ms press book. Glad to hear the EC2 book is good as I am planning on getting that on when I am near taking the exam.
Again, I hope you have better luck taking it the next time. Focus on your weak areas and reinforce your strong points and you will pass.

I passed (barely) using the Sybex book only. I was confident I knew 98-99% of the book but after the test, I felt that I was greatly unprepared. The first thing I did after the test was order the MS Press book for the 290 test. I am using both the Sybex and the MS Press book and to me there is no comparison. The MS Press book is much better. I have posted my thoughts on this forum earlier and I advise anyone considering purchasing the Sybex book to get the MS Press book (or both).
