Is it a lot different from each other?
When I started my A.S. degree, we started with the MS 2000 curriculum and I finished (last week) with 2003 curriculum.
So, my client class was with 2kpro and my server class was 2k3. I took 290 exam already and passed. I was wondering if I will have to cover a lot for 270 exam? (knowing that I had 2kpro class already).
If they are similar, then I will stop my CCNA studies for like a week and concentrate on 270, since I'm fresh from 290.
Thanks in advance.

Breadfan Member Posts: 282 ■■■□□□□□□□I think you could take a few weeks off from CCNA studies and successfully pass 70-270. XP was built on 2000 and you already have the server side of it (which is harder I am told) but since you have those topics down I think you could take a few weeks to slay the 70-270 beast.
I myself am studying for the 70-270, so I wont be much help, but if you have any questions about the Security+ test lemme know (I see you are about to take that one as well)

gabrielbtoledo Member Posts: 217Thanks bro. Another thing I was thinking about is the free retake from Microsoft.
Lets say if I take the 270 soon and for some reason I don't pass, I will still have till the end of June to retake it for free.
Now, if I go and study for CCNA (whether I pass or fail), to then take the first time 270 and for some reason I don't pass. I won't have much time to study to take the free retake.
Just a thought I had. However I'm really fresh for CCNA, since I just finished my class.
Thanks for your input.A+ Certified - Network+ - MCP (70-290)
