Need Some IT Help

Hello Everyone,

I have a couple questions but let me explain my situation first. I was hired in to a company that only has one IT person for all of their plants. The current IT is under contract through a IT service, so he is only here a couple hours a day. I have been gradually learning the roles for this IT position since his contract runs out at the end of this month. Meaning, the first week of October I will be fully in IT... by myself. He is not very happy with me taking over this position, so my question is how do I make sure, once he leaves the company, that he is no longer able to get in to any of the systems here? I know I will need to go in to the server console and remove his user account but I just want to make sure that I cover everything. Right now most of the time that the company has problems and he is elsewhere he will remote in to the system to fix the problems. So I want to make sure he will not be able to get in to the system in any way.
