I passed core with Mike Meyers all in one book. I want to use a second book to help me nail the OS test. Any suggestions?

You have all you need. Combine that with the technotes and practice exams here you should be able to pass OS.

I used Mikes book and his CBT as my sole source and passed with a 973 after reading it once.

i used examcram and macmin's distance learning books. they covered the operating systems exam in depth, though the use of windows 3.x to help explain the complexities of extended and expanded memory seemed a little confusing when win3.x is not actually tested.

Mike Meyers' A+ Passport is pretty good. It prepares you for what you need to know to pass the exam, unlike other books where it goes way outside the A+
