3D Printing and Making - How to Get Started

in Off-Topic
Have some ideas floating around and getting into 3D Printing/Making would be a big help to me. Anyone else doing 3D Printing? Just looking at how to get started and recommendations on equipment, training, materials, etc.

Hi Grinch,
You can get kits from Gearbest for less than £100 ($135 US), i think these are mainly self assemble and have small printing areas. But I guess you would like to start small and then work up. Then you would need some sort of 3D modelling software to design what you would like to print.
I would suggest that there is a plethora of information/instructional videos on YouTube, heck I have even seen it on twitch.tv, I watched a fella print the parts for a new 3D printer with a 3D printer.
Thanks
