Help with upgrade please
I have an evaluation version of windows xp professional cd(came with an MCDST book to help me practice the scenario questions) that I wanted to install as an upgrade to the windows xp home edition that I am currently using. someone told me that I cannot upgrade from home edition to pro, and that I have to do a clean installation instead. This is the only computer I have and I don't want to mess it up. What are my options? can someone please help me?

If it is an evaluation version and it is your only computer, why try? Most MS evaluations versions stop working after six months. Upgrades I believe only work on 98 ME and Win2k but I don't think an evaluation version will update any version.Who knows what evil lurks in the heart of technology?... The Shadow DO -

I was just looking at some ways that might help me with the practice questions because I'm sure some of those will be on the certification exam and I believe if I practice instead of just read, I will remember it better. Thanks anyway -
