Hi guys I just passed the 270 with 700!! I know it's 700, I'm really lucky. hahaha..but for a person like me without any previous experiences, it's really enough for me. Now i'm continuing on 290 next month. Wish me good luck again!!
I've been studying for this XP for one month with the book MCSE Guide to Microsoft Windows XP from Thomson Course Technology. Personally, I think it's better than mike meyer's Passport. Especially, I got few questions on the exam which are almost the same as some of the questions I've done on the accompanied CD (Practised exams from Measureup). I also used the practise exams from Preplogic, Transcender and Measureup. Since I have no previous experiences, passing the exam is kinda hard for me. I would recommand anyone who has the same background as me to do MORE and MORE simulation exams. It's an alternative and great way of gaining experiences within a short period.
I had almost 1/3 of the questions are related group policy. That huge percetage did surprise me. Also, I have 3 questions asking about installing XP with SCSI disk. I would really recommand you guys who are going to take the 270 exam try to skin through the 290 books regarding the group policy issues. It will definitley help you a lot for the 270 exams.
Thanks so much for this forum and the technotes. See you guys in 290
Cheers!!!

Relax and celebrate this weekend!
.... then either kick it up a notch for the 70-290 or take a little extra study time.... either way -- good luck!
