They are one of the big 4 accounting firms, so they will emphasize billable hours. I never worked for Deloitte, but the big 4 are for the most part the same. You can most likely expect long hours and possibly lots of travel, even if you live in a major city. Knew someone who worked for PwC, lived in NY but basically dumped his apartment since he was only home for a few days a month.

As infosec123 points out, they are among the top four accounting and auditing companies in the world. The hours are long and travel extensive (but my understanding you can easily get elite airline statuses from all the traveling lol).
I heard the compensation is pretty good though, and having a big name firm like Deloitte on your resume will look damn good.

As said above, Deloitte is a big 4 firm, that audits everywhere. If you are familiar with the structured auditing world, you should have a pretty good idea of what they do. As a senior, you would likely be in charge of the client audit engagements, if not performing them on your own.

Definitely go after a CISA or other auditing certification.

I've known a few auditors and one thing I can vouch for is the travel. It's basically project based work and you go where the billable hours take you.....

This looks like a fairly standard auditing role.

I recently moved to a 'big 4' consulting firm to do incident response. While I primarily do IR/investigations, I recently helped out in an audit engagement because the team needed another technical body. If you have any specific questions, I'd be happy to provide my perspective.
