Or be like "It was on sale at Goodwill. Why are you judging?" -
pitviper Member Posts: 1,376 ■■■■■■■□□□I haven't received a new friend request in years. Never really understood the point. I just checked my current list and most of the peeps haven't posted in long time. I miss some of those old guys/gals.CCNP:Collaboration, CCNP:R&S, CCNA:S, CCNA:V, CCNA, CCENT

jibtech Member Posts: 424 ■■■■■□□□□□My precious little bundle getting ready for its first day at work this morning....
Muahahahah!! -
NHStudent Member Posts: 21 ■□□□□□□□□□Not sure if this is the case but is it not possible to send a PM to someone until you have a certain # of posts? Not saying that is why the OP is getting them but I just joined and had a specific questions for one of the past members and could not send them an PM. I have setup vBulletin and other forum software and this is highly configurable to prevent spam. You can get messages from friends and trusted members. Trusted members include those with a # of posts (or friends).
In any event you get a friend request from me, I don't really want any friends - just information. -
jibtech Member Posts: 424 ■■■■■□□□□□Sat for the CISSP this morning, despite not feeling at all prepared.
360 minutes allowed, 105 actually used.
Don't know the score, but I know I passed. I actually felt pretty good taking the test, too.
My secret, you ask?

I. WORE. THE. SHIRT.
So no studying involved? It was the shirt that got you that pass. I wonder if that's considered a form of cheating?Still searching for the corner in a round room. -
jibtech Member Posts: 424 ■■■■■□□□□□I would argue it acted as a force multiplier for both the studying and the self-confidence.

Wait until you start picking up chicks wearing that shirt. It's almost as effective as a three wolf moon shirt. BTW, congrats on the pass! -
joshuamurphy75 Member Posts: 162 ■■■□□□□□□□Will wearing the shirt help someone pass the CCNP, or does it just help with CISSP?
-
jibtech Member Posts: 424 ■■■■■□□□□□I can't see it not working. Going to try it on the CCNA:Security next wewk.

I heard wearing the shirt and combining it with staying at Holiday Inn Express will give you almost unlimited knowledge -

hahahah. Better than giving you scabies -
jibtech Member Posts: 424 ■■■■■□□□□□So, today was my third attempt at the CCNA:Security. The first two attempts really got into my head.
I did the same prep. I studied everything I could get my hands on. But, for this one, I needed a little something extra. So, I decided to harness the strength embodied in so many professional women I admire....
Official Team SCA belt (from last year's all-female Volvo Ocean Race team): Check
Magenta Project hat: check
Official Women In Shipbuilding Enterprise lanyard: Check
Irisangel shirt: You bet your ass.....
Result: Passed. CCNA:Security done, and now a graduate of WGU! -
jibtech Member Posts: 424 ■■■■■□□□□□Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but it seemed appropriate.
The space kitty shirt will be making an appearance at Splunk Conf next week. Muahahha!
Anyone else attending? -

jibtech Member Posts: 424 ■■■■■□□□□□Sadly, no. Have to encounter Iris in her natural conference habitat, while wearing the shirt, for an autograph.
Working on it though. -

Then I will continue to randomly wear my favorite IT shirt at conferences.
I think it will generate a lot of looks, given the fascination Splunkers have with shirts. -
Iristheangel Mod Posts: 4,133 ModHahahaha that's hilarious. Now I need a pic of you and your random pets so I can wear a shirt of you at random confs

jibtech Member Posts: 424 ■■■■■□□□□□So the shirt has been spotted in the wild, and photographed. Expect emails next week.
