CCNA Security Renewal question
worldmac1
Hi guys,
I need a little help in making sure I am reading Cisco's renewal steps correctly. In order for me to renew my CCNA-Security level I only need to pass the current Security exam, or ICND2 exam, or CCNA composite exam or one of the CCNP exams? If so I may just take the ICND2 exam and then begin working on the 300-101 CCNP (Route) exam right afterwards. Am I correct with this interpretation?
Thanks!

From "Recertification" section:
"CCNA Security certifications are valid for three years. To recertify, pass
ONE
of the following before the certification expiration date:
Pass any current Associate-level exam except for ICND1 exam"
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/training-events/training-certifications/certifications/associate/ccna-security.html#~stickynav=5
This means you can pass any exam from this "Associate Certifications":
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/training-events/training-certifications/certifications/associate.html
any exam which starts with "2xx-xxx" and your "CCNA Security" will renewed.
Choose which field are interesting for you and pass first exam. This will renew your current CCNA certs and you will on half way to new certificate

Thanks Duta74! Just making sure I'm reading this correctly, and seeing that you read it the same way makes me feel a lot better.
Thanks a million!
