Self Study CompTIA CTT+ material or recommendations?

Do you have any recommendation for CCT+ material? It appears the official book is outdated and/or is not a good resource. I am looking for books, videos, etc...

Any tips on this cert also welcome!

What exactly leads you to believe the book out there is out of date or not a good resource? Book lists the current version, and reviews are fine...
