@IronmanX, I've been working as a Desktop Support Engineer for many years, but I decided to hop into IT Security to learn more advance technology which I am unable to practically do so when I am limited by my current job scope. -

Start working towards your Security+ and then move onto other security certifications depending on what they want you to focus on.

chopsticks Member Posts: 389@Madmd5, basically it is a SI role where I need to learn and implement firewall products from various vendors such as Cisco, Blue Coat, Palo Alto, etc, at clients' premises. And this role also requires to verify, identify, troubleshoot and resolve network problems pertaining to firewalls. It's a whole huge new playground for me to explore.
@cbdudek, noted and thanks! -
