Can I write the A+ Exam without setting an appointment?

My schedule is a little unpredictable.

Can I just walk into the A+ Center and write the exam?

I heard that you just have to wait a half hour at the center and then you can write the exam.

How much notice do I have to give the A+ Center on when I am writing the exam?

where i tested it was impossible to schedule an exam the day before you wished to take it (online scheduling). Two days in advance was no problem, but for each of my A+ settings i did it 10 days before.

It is suggested you arrive 30 minutes early. I got there 15 minutes before test time as was allowed to sit as soon as I signed in since there were available terminals. Your mileage may vary.

with prometric centres they need two clear days notice. and they must be booked through 2test.com.

i think vue centres are different.

Vue or Prometric, they actually have the exam booked prior as the System Admin must load the exam from the main test centre.
