Hi all,
I have a personal question to ask you IT professionals, networkers in particular.
Is anyone on or near on a 6 figure 100k salary in the UK?
If so what do you do? (im currently going down the networking path)
How did you achieve this?
Any advice?
The reason I ask is when I switched careers I did some research and found a CCIE level engineer can make from 80 to 120k, which was a good incentive to pursue the career.
However with the possible financial turmoil that seems to be coming along with the ever rising prices of homes, I feel tge 6 figure dream needs to become a reality.
Abit of background also, Im 21 in a junior network admin role, I hold a CCNA, Palo Alto ACE, and im looking to pursue the CCNP switch and route this year, along with motivating my company into a junior network engineer role.
Thanks in advance for the help guys.

LordQarlyn Member Posts: 693 ■■■■■■□□□□I presume you are meaning 100k £ and not $? If you are asking in dollars, because one only needs to make around £74000 to equal $100000 and that's at today's rate, when the pound was at 1.6, £62k would have been about $100000.
Anyway I agree with Welly_59 if you are talking about pounds, you either have to be in London, where the housing costs will eat up the income gains fast, or, be at director level.
