Questions On Landing First Job

Hey everyone
I wanted to know if having a CCNA R&S and A+ cert will be enough to land me an IT job in the Dallas area.
My experience is mainly revolved around break/fix but I am really looking to move away from that field. My dream position is to be a network admin/engineer. I see a lot of IT Support listings that include networking knowledge as well.
Are they any tips that you all could give me to help me on this journey? I'm also willing to grab another cert or two if I have to.
Thanks for your replies.

What IT employment history do you have? -

Also I was hired for a short contract job to install new thin clients, network printers, and VoIP systems at a business. That’s pretty much it. -

CCNA R&S is a great cert to get a seat at the table, just make sure you can hold your ground during a panel interview.
In the end, certs are the end all be all for landing an IT job, but they definitely don't hurt. Good luck!
