Are CME 8.6 and CUCM 10.5 the software versions on CICD?

I just finished my CCNP R&S and decided to come back after collaboration in order to broaden my skillset.
I currently have a 2811 that came with CME 8.5 when I got it years ago, but the posts I've read keep referring to 8.6. Also, some reference CUCM 8.6 while others say CUCM 10.5. Are both versions of CUCM on the exam or were some people meaning CME but typing CUCM?
Also, is there an upgrade path from CME 8.5 to 8.6 or should I just clear the flash and start fresh?

CUCM 10.5 is on the Collaboration NA and NP tracks right now. I wouldn't worry too much about CME and versioning for it. The thing I'd worry about is PVDM3 resources for video transcoding / conferencing (those suckers are expensive and run on the newer ISR G2 platforms 29xx, 39xx).
I'd say wipe the flash / config clean and try to load the last IOS 15 available for that model (c2800nm-adventerprisek9_ivs-mz.151-4.M12a.bin) which should cover most of what you need from a CME box in your studies anyway. That image should also have H323 Gatekeeper support (which is no longer used in production environments - most people are using ILS, GDPR and SME nowadays).
Good luck with Voice / Collab It's a hard / demanding but rewarding and fun track.2017-2018 goals:

Then, I'll see what hardware my new position has in place before building up my homelab for this cert.CISSP|CCNP R&S|CCNA Security|CCNA Wireless|ITIL Foundations|VMware vSphere 6.5 Foundations|BS-Computer Science|MBA|
