Free 2nd Shot

Hey guys,

I have a question regarding the free 2nd shot option.

Heres the scenario:

I have my 70-270 scheduled this Friday, and which had been set up a while back.... and just got my free 2nd shot code from MS.
What I'm wondering is.. when/where do I use this code????
Do I only use it in the event that I fail?? Or do I have to do something before hand?
The person who runs that side of things for us told me you use the code after you fail, to schedule a new exam. However I think I read somewhere that you need to use it when you first schedule your exam..

Yep, you need to give the code when you first register for the exam.
When it first came out I had already booked an exam, but i cancelled it by net and then rescheduled it by phone, giving them the code.
I don't know if you'd have to go through all that, but it's an idea.

I thought that might be the case... sometimes the "organized" people don't seem to have a clue lol.
I guess I'll get her to cancel it and re-register me with the promo code.
I would do it myself but I don't know how the vouchers work where I am.
