Well tomorrow is my second go at this exam.
I failed the first time with 654, 4 weeks ago, which I was pleased with as it
was the first time I had taken the exams in over 5 years. I had used the Sybex book.
I have now been through the MS Press book, and its so much better, I have notes everywhere. I have also reviewed all the Techexam notes for the exam too.
I have to admit I still find doing the sample questions tricky, don't know why, but I hope I pass tomorrow, I could really do with the boost.
I have really made efforts on the subjects I was weak in previously, so fingers crossed. When I look back at my first failure I can see I was not ready, I just didn't fully understand many concepts, but I feel better with it.
The suspense and level of expectation is beginning to kill me ! I have done IT for over 16 years, so people just expect you to glance over a book, take the exam and pass.
When you spend the initial 3 weeks studying, turn up and fail, people wonder !
Lets hope a get good questions !!

Oh yeah, good luck on the pass!!
and the understanding of the subject comes gradually..
so i prefer going from the easiest to the hardest!
this is well known method of succeeding in any education process:
you gather information little by little
each small piece of information accumulates in your brains
but even if you've read many books and tutorials about the subject, you still can't get the whole idea right... and once.. BAM! ->
-> you are getting an irradiation.. suddenly you understand the whole concept and any question doesnt seem difficult to you anymore
as soon as it happens, you must ticket an exam the nearest possible time lol
i'm going for a 218 tomorrow (thought i'd take it on 30th, but due to job, had to change plans)
and only yesterday (!) i've understood the network environment in all views lol,
I can recommend you good test site www.brainbench.com - this one offers few tests on Win2000, WinXP, ActiveDirectory and alot of other subjects... also You can get a BB Certificate and put a link to ur profile in CV lol, or order a paper certificate right there..
(have passed win2k with Master grade (better than 99.9% ppl taken this before lol)), but it was kinda hard on AD and XP

Considering the 270... I've been reading the book 'Passing 70-270', some tutorials in this site and it's topsites.. took some tests.. no pay stuff though.. Was so freakin nervous about that, but passed well (~920).. so Wish ya luck! -

Today is the day for me I have also read the MS Press book and have worked a great deal with the transcenders and other freebie practice tewst like the one on this site.
I sit the test in 2hrs.
Nerves are really getting to me since this will be my first experience with an exam. -

I take my 70-270 tomorrow as well, hopefully we all get over the hurdle!!!! -

I take mine tommorow at 9am as well. Seems there's alot of us taking it!
Now, if only we could collectively take the test, we'd pass for sure! Good luck to everyone, here's hoping we all pass!
