Trying to confirm HP warranty and EOL for Server Hardware

I'm trying to look up the warranty and EOL for various HP server hardware.

Either putting in the serial number or the product number or both doesn't return anything. I've tried the HP support site forum and no response yet.

This is server hardware that I've inherited and no one seems to know anything or have documentation on it.

So...anyone have any advise on how to look up this server hardware and figure out the warranty and EOL?

HP has one of the most confusing sites, ever. Try calling them (I had to do that a couple of times).

Try calling them, but you may have to look into order numbers and where it was ordered from.

I inherited a Dell switch that had a Express Service code and service tag that wouldn't look up.
Looked up where we got them from, and that was a different service tag (well, two, but the other one was still in service elsewhere in network and looked up fine)
after some tracking down, turns out that someone had had one of the switches from that order replaced by dell about two years before I started and some disconnect had meant that the Tag/Express service code were no good, even though I was able to show them pictures of the tag and the web UI confirming.
Through more research I found the Service request where it was replaced (documentation that I gave to the the dell guys to track down new service tags)

In the end it took me about 10 hours on the phone over the course of two months to finally get this issue resolved. But now my Service Tag is recognized and if I have a problem at 9pm where I need help with the switch I should be able to.

BTW I would highly encourage that you do a check-through on all your servers and switches in your domain when you start a new job. Idk if my previous coworkers were breaking it somehow or what, but I had 3 devices (out of about 10 total switches and servers) that wouldn't look up properly and would have made getting a ticket started after-hours nearly impossible, much less the 4 hour on site service that some of them had purchased. The other two were a quick phone call, explanation and verification of order number to get them activated. Escalation to the tag-team and a couple days wait for it to get processed.

Your link is for HP consumer products. The old HP is now 2 companies: HP Inc (www.hp.com) and HP Enterprise (www.hpe.com)
