Hey guys, i just passed the cisa exam and wanted to give my take on how i passed the exam as a recent grad with no experience.
I spent 5 months studying for the exam and heres my timeline:
0-3 months: this was what i call a period of consolidation. To understand a concept, I would read the crm, watch youtube videos, and google it to obtain a complete understanding. ( doing this wasnt enjoyable but it had to done since i had no work experience nor any knowledge of IT).
4-5 months: For the next 2 months i read the crm again, and this time making detailed notes on every domain and reviewing/ memorizing them. Then i would attempt the database questions and make notes on the explanations provided.
Then, For the week preceding the exam, i just reviewed my notes and did database q's again. I was scoring 65-75% on the database so dont be too hung up on the QAE score, just focus on the concepts.
Thanks to the techexams community for helping me through this and i hope this post helps some of you out.
