in A+
Question guys. Is the A+ Cert necessary for your MCSA/MCSE? I got my A+ Core about 2 years ago. Immediately afterwards, I got a job where i did an externship as an assistant systems admin. Afterwards I got my Net+ and Security+ but havent gone back to Pass the A+ OS. Im sure it wouldnt hurt to get it, but quite frankly, with what Im doing day in and day out, I would much rather skip it and go straight to the MCSA/MCSE tracks if possible. Would it hurt to take that route?

combinaison of A+ and N+ replace one elective exam for MCSA

Webmaster Admin Posts: 10,292 AdminIf you plan to apply for a job some day soon, it may be good to have the additional cert, A+, on your resume. If that's not the case I would save the time and money and go straight for MCSA/E instead.
