Flash cards: Helpful or not?

I’m just wondering if you used flash cards, whether your own or from a boot camp, etc, and if you found them helpful?

I've never gotten anything from using flash cards. However, a lot of people here have said that they love them. It all depends on which study method best suits you.

IMO they are only useful if you make your own. I made around 800 or so that I could memorize word for word. There’s no freaking way I would have passed without them. The trick is being able to see a term, definition, process or concept and being able to talk about it to yourself. I used an App called Cram.
