Finished the BS-IT-Security. Waiting on confirmation. Was so disappointed that the cybersecurity degree came out too late. Would have added a year or more for me and no more scholarship funds. Going to contribute to that fund to help somebody else out. Anyone here going to graduation in August?

Thanks. First, I need to learn SharePoint administration for work. Next, I was thinking of CCNP Security because CCNA Security didn’t really cover enough to manage the ASA. But, maybe I could find some other training without having to get the cert.

Also, I need to get the entry level Certified HIPAA Professional (CHP) because I already signed up for the Certified HIPAA Security Specialist (CHSS) in which I only have to attend a 2 day seminar and will receive the certification without having to take the test because I have Security+. I don’t have to get these certifications it’s just a way to learn how to be audit ready.

I’m also interested in IT Auditing and Security. I would really like a work from home job though. People here have a lot of bad things to say about CEH. I guess now that I have a little bit of free time I can research techexams again about what path to take. Not at all sure where to begin.
