I finished the Cyber Ops cert yesterday morning. I used the same approach that I used on SECFND which was to just go in and take it without spending much time studying.
Interestingly, I didn't exactly feel confident in a pass at the end but scored 60 points higher then on the fundamentals exam. If you don't have cyber experience I think this exam could be challenging. I think it's a solid foundation for anyone wanting to learn and get on the right path towards a blue team cyber role. More relevant than CEH or Security + in my opinion.
Know exploits, the IR process, diamond model, VERIS framework, CVSS, kill chain, pcap analysis, and NIST and you'll be fine.
