Anyone here know or know of a site that give the instructions on How to setup a Hotspot for internet access?

Some freely available firmware distributions for inexpensive access points can be configured to act as a hotspot. The DD-WRT firmware for the Linksys WRT54G and WRT54GS has this capability. Have a look at:
