Passed cissp cat first attempt (07/03/2018)
Okay, so this exam took a big toll on me, studied for like 5 months. Made me study like crazy but I'm so glad I passed it.
Used the Sybex 7th Edition majorly (use the 8th edition if you can)
*Official CISSP Questions (by Sybex)
*Practice questions by Shon Harris.
*The book by Eric Conrad (Honestly, this book is REALLY indepth, could only read little of it before my head started spinning)
To be honest understanding the concepts and test taking skills/analysis is the most important. Safari Books Online has a trial version for a week that has a lot of cool books. I used a couple of them for last minute study. At some point, I felt so lost and thought I had failed. I stopped at question 100 with about 87mins left.
My questions spanned most of the domains but majorly covered Network Security and Software Security. Just thought I'll give back because this forum has really helped me too. This is my 4th certification passed at first attempt due to the help I have received from here. Good luck to everyone trying to take this in the future.
