INET+& CIW Associate

Last week I took the CIW associate and then the INET + a day later. I thought both test were pretty easy as long as you know your basic networking concepts and html code. The INET + had less question dealing with HTML code and concepts then the CIW Associate--at least on my version of the exam.

I would like to take the i-Net+ soon, the only thing is coming up with the $200 to take it. Maybe I'll think about CIW too.

I-net + is $218 without voucher and CIW is just 125.

$218 for this test is ridiculously expensive. I will never take it unless I get a very cheap(like $99) voucher for it.

I think CompTIA certs in general are a rip-off. I do think they are important, I just think their price tag is a bit expensive. However, they are in business to make money so I guess that is what counts. icon_cool.gif

I agree with Olajuwon though, I wouldn't take i-NET+ unless I had a cheap voucher or if my company paid for it.

I'm not 100% sure how the voucher thing works, but the testing center I go to near my house gave me an I-net+ voucher for $149. Still a little high, but not as bad as 200 or more. So, my advice is call the testing center and ask them or also search on the net for cheaper ones. :D
